We are constantly reflecting on the essence of yoga and critical on dogmatic and hierarchic systems.
We believe that yoga should meet you where you are, and serve as a tool to support you in your daily life.
About the teacher
I have been exploring yoga, nutrition and holistic lifestyle for about 20 years, and continues to do so.
I dedicate my time and energy to what I love, what inspires me and my passions, which are yoga, cooking and baking, chocolate and rock climbing. I love sharing these passions with friends, family and students. Check out my plantbased confection store Chocoláctica.
I have always been deeply curious about yoga and spirituality and I am a dedicated student of Raja Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
I have assisted in multiple Ashtanga Yoga Mysore programs and I have completed a Hatha Yoga education. I am very passionate about exploring all the paths of yoga including devotional, energetic and meditational practices. I have been sharing and teaching yoga for more than 12 years.
I feel very blessed with the teachers that I have met along the way and had the opportunity to spend longer periods of time to study with them. I still see myself mainly as a student of Yoga and continue to practice under the guidance of my teachers on a regular basis.

My focus and priority lies in continuously exploring the depths of my Self and deepen my practice to be able to help and guide others from a place of personal experience and knowledge.
Through the years I have come to realize that food is one of our direct and most intimate connections with nature. This lead me to study Ayurveda and different ‘western’ nutrition & food cultures. I have taught vegan and vegetarian cooking classes & workshops for many years and I can spend hours in the kitchen.
I love meeting new people and students and will try to help, guide or just accompany you in any way I can.

Yoga is about balance. We need self-practice to explore and confront our physical/mental/emotional territories. However we also need guidance.
The teacher is there to hold the space, and give you some light when there is darkness and transmit knowledge gained from their own experience & practice. They give us motivation and inspiration and in acknowleging them we cultivate humbleness and gratefullness.
Gilles & Valerie Redard
Having an authentic yogi background, friend of Gérard Blitz, Gille's exemplary transmission comes from the beings he has worked with: Guruji Thabovaan, Krishnamacharya, Desikachar, Nil Hahoutoff, Master Deshimaru, Krishnamurti, Satyananda, Muktananda, B. Khan, and many others...
Valerie is pure expression of Bhakti and inspires with her vast knowledge and devotional attitude towards yoga. She is also an amazing artist.
They have years and years of experience and have the most inspiring and touching way to transmit traditional yoga teachings.
They currently live in Ecuador where they host yoga seminars and long term yoga education programs. They travel to France once a year in the summer to meet new students and host a retreat for their long term (some more than 30 years!) European students.
Lucia is one of a handful of people Certified at K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI). She started practicing yoga at an early age, Ashtanga while she was at university in Brazil and completed a BA in Dance, Communication & Arts of the Body (PUC/SP) in 2003.
She is a very loving, humble, and inspiring teacher with a lot of depth of knowledge. In her teaching, you can feel her devotion and understanding of this practice. She reminds us that Yoga occurs when we are off the mat as she expresses that for her the practice on the mat is just a laboratory to observe the details and subtleness helping her to build up awareness to then apply in her life.
Devoted to supporting her students, her mission is to pass as pure as possible the teachings she received.
Mauricio Victorica Carcasses
Mauricio is an international teacher and has received level 2 authorisation by the KPJAYI, Mysore India.
He began to study yoga in 1997. Later in 2003 he discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. His view on this moving meditation is to approach the Ashtanga Vinyasa system as a lifelong practice, rather than a race for postures or series.
Mauricio has been travelling to Mysore, India since 2005 to continue his studies at the KPJAYI (K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute).
Since 2007 he has been teaching Mysore Programs in many different countries.
Xico is an international teacher and has received level 2 authorisation by the KPJAYI, Mysore India. Practicing yoga since very young, he has a vast experience with body work, adventurous person dedicated to many nature related sports. Xico spent his 20's learning yoga close to his teachers , living in India and dedicating his life to yoga. Even though Xico is an advanced series practitioner for more than 10 years. He spends most of his time practicing meditation and soft yoga postures in order to find the ballance necessary to go deep into learning about the body and mind.
Yoga is for me a way of playing with energies. An everyday dance where I align the energies within me and nature. Its fun and very introspective. I don't believe in pain as a good way to do yoga. Yoga is an art form and expression of your being. Ashtanga yoga is a set of tools that have been carried from generation to generation and that have arrived in my life when I was young. The way I try to pass on ashtanga yoga is through love, care, and technique. Using the Ayurveda Principles in order to name the energies that are worked on the physical and mental level. Understanding where and how you are and how you can improve the energy of your body and mind., having a clear intention for life.

Prem & Radha
Anthony “Prem” Carlisi and Heather “Radha” Carlisi, came together initially as a teaching team in Sri Lanka2007 at Prem’s then, Ashtanga Yoga retreat center, in Tangalle.
They maintain the traditional system as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, their beloved Guruji who passed away in May 2009. Prem and Radha both had the good fortune to study with Guruji personally for many years.
Prem began learning from Guruji back in 1978 while and Radha’s Ashtanga journey began by studying with Chuck Miller in 1990 followed by her first trip to Mysore, India to study in 1995.
Prem and Radha work in a personable way, making the needs of each individual student a priority.
In addition to their unique teaching style, they also bring in the concepts of Ayurveda and Tantra. Prem was a student of the renown Dr. Vasant Lad, having studied with him for 4 years, from 1983 to 1987, and has maintained a deep connection to the practice of Ayurveda as a lifestyle. He is also considered a “Doctor of Ayurveda” from his teacher Dr. Lad.
Radha also has a deep interest in Ayurveda, particularly in the area of food and nutrition. She has studied with Maya Tiwari and Amadea Morningstar. She also credits Paul Pitchford , the author of Healing with Whole Foods, as begin a big inspiration. She shares her love of Ayurvedic cooking on a regular basis with cooking classes and as nutritional guidance in consultations.
Prem and Radha offer many things at AYBRC together in the unique and beautiful setting that is their home Yoga Shala in Bali.
Gibran is an international teacher and has received level 2 authorisation by the KPJAYI, Mysore India.
Gibran's yogic path started in Mexico in 2000 with Baptiste Marceau and led him to regularly practice in India, first in Bangalore and then, in October 2005, in Mysore at the KPJAYI (Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute) with Sri K Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois Rangaswamy.
He has spent more than ten years practicing for 6 months each year between KPJAYI and in Goa with well known teachers Rolf and Marci, currently practicing third series.
